Team Esbenshade from Berkshire Hathaway's Lancaster office worked with me to find a home in the middle of a challenging Winter. Andy Esbenshade was patient, professional, ever ready & extremely informed as we looked at numbers of listings. It took months. With a historian's knowledge of Lancaster and the surrounding county it was an unanticipated pleasure to learn architectural details, construction-by-date techniques and neighborhood stories during the demanding process of relocation. Closure came soon after my offer, the team was very well prepared. During the entire process I was well prepared by Team Esbenshade who worked with me patiently to understand at each step exactly how the process works. There were No Surprises. Professional, smooth. The seller was happy. And we found a just-right home I love. Very recommended team for the shift in home ownership that life can bring.

The thing I like most about Andy is that even when you are not in the market, he is willing to spend time talking about your plans for the future. There was a 10 year period where we were in the same home. During this period we thought about moves more than once and each time Andy was available to discuss our plans with us. He followed up each time and when we decided we weren't ready yet, he took it in stride and asked us to let him know when we were ready. Most recently, Andy sold our home for us after we relocated to the west coast. Thanks for all the help, Andy!

Andy is extremely knowledgeable about the area, the homes, and has an answer for every question you could think of in buying a home (and we asked a lot, as first-timers!) He and his team were very responsive and made the whole process super smooth. We would highly recommend the Esbenshade team and would certainly use them again next time we are looking for a home.

The Esbenshade team is excellent. My husband and i worked with Andy through our house hunting and purchase process, and he was super. His knowledge of Lancaster City and County is incomparable. He was always responsive and worked hard to coordinate his schedule to suit ours. During the purchasing process, he helped us determine our best offer with comps and other pertinent information, and worked hard to make sure the closing happened without a hitch. And, we purchased a foreclosure! They are never easy, but we actually closed a day early. I would highly recommend Andy Esbenshade and his team.
